DW7 Battle Controls

Today, we will explain you about the controls in the DW7. there are some changes here so, you will have to see this.


-Square button: Normal attack. you can use it when you're riding a horse, running, and jumping. But! you can't use it when you in the water, so you can only swim.


-Triangle button: Charge attack. you can combine it with the normal attack ( S>S>S>T, for example) or just press it one time an you can use it. you can use this button to execute your Ex attack ( S>S>S>S>S>T>T. this is one of the commands.). when you're riding a horse, it will jump. But, you can't use it while you're jumping so you must press the square button for aerial attack.


-Circle button: Musou attack. you can use it when you have at least 1 full musou gauge. you can't fill the musou gauge. (see, there are some changes for the controls.)


-R1 + Circle button:  To excute the Alternate Musou Attack on the ground, some characters’ Secondary Musou Attack is in the air (not on the ground) – to excute that, press (X) to jump and (O) while mid-air instead.


-(X) button : Jump. the longer you hold the button, the higher you will jump. Mount or dismount horse, climbing ladders, utilize siege weapons (you will have to stand near it until the button command appears.


-L1 button: Block and somersault 


-L2 button: call the horse


-R1 button: switch weapons


-R2: toggle map


-Select button: show's the battlefield's map and officer's location.


-Select + Start button: return to main menu. (like how it does in the Warriors orochi.)
